Women of grace

This program is committed to restoring dignity, hope, and economic independence to widows in Kenya, starting with Nairobi and Siaya Counties.

James 1:7

Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

Vision & Case for Support

Women of Grace is a transformational initiative committed to restoring dignity, hope, and economic independence to widows living in slums of Nairobi and rural Kenya.

Across many African communities, widowhood often marks the beginning of deep vulnerability. Widows are frequently stripped of property rights, excluded from family decision making, and left to shoulder the full burden of raising children alone. This reality contributes significantly to the vicious cycle of entrenched poverty.

Women of Grace exists to break this cycle.

We holistically support widows spiritually, socially, and economically empowering them to rebuild their lives with confidence and self-reliance through structured self-help groups and livelihood training.

Beyond economic empowerment, the program creates safe spaces for healing and restoration. Regular group meetings foster peer support, mentorship, social awareness, and bible-based encouragement helping widows move from isolation to belonging, from despair to dignity.

This is not temporary relief — this is structured restoration
