Today marks the successful conclusion of the Nairobi Tabasamu shoe distribution, a heartwarming initiative that reached its pinnacle in Kibera, the home of our organization. A total of 574 pairs of shoes have found new homes, leaving behind a trail of joy and gratitude. Our dedicated efforts were extended to four key areas within Nairobi: Kibera, Korogocho, Nairobi Juvenile Remand Home, and Edmond Rise. The collective impact of our shoe distribution in Nairobi was significant, totaling 793 pairs distributed to those in need.

This year, our distribution efforts took a significant turn towards remote interior areas, notably Kilifi and Budalangi counties. As we conclude our mission, these regions will have received a remarkable 6,135 pairs of shoes. While our initial target for 2023 was set at 10,000 pairs, we are excited to announce that we will have distributed a total of 7,014 pairs by the time we reach our final destination in Budalangi. Although we are falling short of the initial goal by 2,986 pairs, the impact of our efforts in these communities remains substantial.

The Tabasamu program extends beyond the simple provision of physical necessities, such as shoes; it also serves as a platform for sharing the gospel with the beneficiaries. We are grateful to witness the impact of this initiative, as evidenced by the fact that in Nairobi County alone, 47 children embraced salvation during the distribution process. This highlights the program’s dual purpose of meeting practical needs while also fostering spiritual growth and awareness.

To our partners we are grateful for your steadfast support, it propels our mission to spread love and inspire hope in the next generation. Your generosity empowers us, facilitating a profound impact on communities and fostering positive change. Together, our collaboration forms a compassionate beacon, guiding towards a brighter future. Deepest appreciation for meaningful partnerships creating a ripple effect of positivity, leaving lasting impressions on touched lives.
