The second day of Abide Camp 2025, themed “Abide Redeemed,” was a resounding success, marked by profound spiritual encounters and vibrant fellowship. The day was a testament to God’s faithfulness, beginning with a powerful time of praise, worship and culminating in a joyful celebration of unity and new life in Christ.

Rev. Ken Aringo delivered the keystone sermon, “Abide Redeemed,”

The core of his message was anchored in the theology of Christ’s atoning sacrifice on the cross, a demonstration of God’s immense love for a sinful world. Drawing from the poignant story of King David’s repentance in Psalm 51, Rev Ken Aringo beautifully illustrated the themes of reconciliation and forgiveness.

He reminded the attendees that while scripture states “the wages of sin is death,” God, in His love, provides a path to freedom. Through the redemptive act of Jesus, those who repent are offered a second chance to be reconciled with God and are empowered to become agents of that same reconciliation in their generation.

The session culminated in a moving call to action. Rev. Aringo-Rev posed the question from God: “Who will I send?” He encouraged the students, explaining that like David, they too can be restored from past disobedience and sin to bring restoration to their schools, families, and communities.

The impact of this message was profoundly felt, as 25 students responded to the altar call, making the decision to surrender their lives to Jesus. A truly transformative moment at the camp

Trendy Tuesday(Creative arts) featured two exciting activities: Colour Fest, where students joyfully played with colored powder, painting each other in vibrant shades, and Colourful Dressing(dressing leaders colourfully) Both activities brought fun, broke the ice, and strengthened team bonds. The different colors symbolized the diversity of people’s varied backgrounds, personalities, and perspectives all coming together to form the Body of Christ, where every role is equally important. The activity encouraged creative thinking, teamwork, and making the most of available resources.

Crazy Tuesday(Sports team) intentionally moved away from a “win-at-all-costs” mindset. The games were designed to enhance diversity and reveal individual strengths, focusing on effective collaboration and mutual learning.

Day 2 of Abide Restored Camp 2025 was a beautiful blend of faith, creativity, and community. From hearts surrendered to Christ to the joy of shared laughter and teamwork, every moment reflected God’s redemptive love in action. As the camp continues, we carry forward the lessons of restoration, unity, and purpose ready to shine as Christ’s ambassadors in our schools, families, and beyond.
