Meet Antonina

November 25, 2022
by Swahiba@OlympicDrive

Eighteen year old Antonina is a class seven student at Uriya primary school. She has a dream of becoming a medical doctor. Antonina has lived with her grandmother since her parents separated when she was a toddler. Deprived of the love and care of a father and mother, she sought attention from a male acquaintance who eventually abused and impregnated her. With the support of her teachers and fellow students, she was able to go back to school to continue pursuing her dream of becoming a doctor. The shoes and socks she received was a great encouragement to her and motivated her to work even harder. Thank you Swahiba partners and friends for putting a smile on the face of Antonina. #tabasamu#swahibanetworks
