Empowering Widows: Bridging Hope

March 6, 2024
by Swahiba@OlympicDrive

The plight of widows in the African context often places them in a disadvantaged position, where they are frequently deprived of their rights and privileges within their families. Over time, the number of single-parent households in these communities grows, amplifying poverty. The Widows for Widows Program extends support to widows who struggle to sustain their families, facing numerous challenges in their lives.

In collaboration with teams that volunteer to serve alongside us, we engage in listening to the stories of these widows during home visits. We offer words of hope and provide a platform for some individuals to share their personal experiences, uplifting the spirits of widows and guiding them towards positive living.
