Brighton’s Testimonial: Tabasamu Shoe Distribution

My name is Brighton, and I live and go to school at Children’s Garden. My story hasn’t been easy. My mum left me in a hotel when I was younger, and since then, I have never seen her. No one has ever visited me, and I often feel alone.

Before, I used to walk barefoot, and some friends would laugh at me. This really hurt my self-esteem. It was painful to walk in certain places, and my feet would sometimes swell, making it hard to concentrate in class. I felt so different from everyone else.

But now, with these new shoes, I feel so happy! At least I can walk comfortably, just like everyone else, without anyone laughing at me. These shoes mean so much to me, and I will wear them proudly. Thank you so much for giving me these shoes they are going to make a big difference in my life.
