A Heartwarming Day Four in Kenya with Radiate Students

Day four of the Kenya mission with Radiate Students began on a light note as we met with students benefiting from our First Priority and Jitambue Purity programs. Visiting their homes in the Kibera slums, we experienced their community firsthand, listened to their stories, and offered encouragement, prayer, and food baskets. “I tell you the truth, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of mine, you did for me.”

Our day included a delightful visit to the Giraffe Center, providing a refreshing break. Following this, the girls held a mini-conference with high school students from our Jitambue Purity Program (JPP) and First Priority (FP) clubs. The girls from Ushirika Girls and Starays High Schools shared their insights on the impact of social influence on teenagers, highlighting the positive effects of the Jitambue program on their lives. Meanwhile, the boys engaged in meaningful games and discussions with students from a boys’ school, Corner Brook, focusing on forgiveness. These conversations are particularly impactful, as participants share their experiences of overcoming similar challenges, fostering a supportive environment for solution-sharing.

On day four, 68 lives were surrendered to Christ, bringing the total to 1,922 lives surrendered to Christ during the Radiate Students Kenya mission.
