It is such a blessing to stand alongside the staff of Swahiba Networks to share God’s word and love with the people of Kenya. We had a Vacation Bible School (VBS) with the precious children of the Kibera Slums. It was such a rewarding experience, as these children have such joy, loving hearts, and a genuine thirst to learn about God. This experience has been incredibly rewarding, meeting pastors, churches, widows, and children of Kenya. This is my second trip to Kenya as part of Burnt Hickory Baptist Church’s mission outreach and support for Swahiba Networks. These trips are as spiritually rewarding to me as they are to the people we meet in Kenya.
