TABASAMU DAY FOUR AND FIVE

More than ever, there’s been a great need to present hope in the face of a pandemic that has left families devastated and livelihoods shattered. The Swahiba Networks staff and volunteers have had a front seat in sharing the unlimited God’s grace in meeting needs and transforming lives for His Glory.

In the past two days, the Swahiba staff and volunteers pitched tent in Kibera slums. 857 children received a new pair of shoes, a meal and an opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel. Many of these children would not be receiving any kind of present this Christmas. The gift of a new pair of shoes not only restores hope but also much-needed protection for their feet from the risk of infection because of poor waste management. The environment has very limited infrastructure such as piped water, sewer systems, and a lack of proper roads. Swahiba Networks Ministries has had the privilege of ministering in this community for the last 18 years.

Victor, a 10 years old orphan boy who lost his Dad this past November and is now living with his widowed Mum was overjoyed when he received his new pair of shoes and surrendered his life to the Lordship of Jesus Christ.

Thank you ministry partners and friends for locking arms with us to reach cumulatively 1503 children just like Victor with the Hope of Christ and Christmas gift in the form of a pair of shoes.
