Importance of arts
Most people who participate in arts say that these activities enhance the quality of their lives, they bring about personal enjoyment, enriching perspectives, intellectual stimulation, and opportunities for public involvement. But the arts and/or expressive culture also have broader impacts beyond the individual level. They can fuel community and economic development.
Kibera being the largest slum in Africa, the population is high and the environment is not very conducive for most. This makes the dwellers to have few option in terms personal and economical growth.
